Description

Are you interested in working for the Federal Government? The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Seattle Federal Executive Board invite you to participate in an interactive event for students and recent graduates that will focus on the Federal Pathways Programs. These programs offer clear paths to Federal internships for students from high school through post-graduate school, and to careers for recent graduates. There will also be an opportunity to interact with Federal hiring managers, human resources experts, and career services staff and faculty from Seattle-area colleges and universities.

OPM Director Katherine Archuleta will provide keynote remarks, which will highlight the agency's new Recruitment, Engagement, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) roadmap, the Federal Government's plan to recruit and retain diverse talent. Following Director Archuleta’s address the event will continue with an information session on the Pathways Programs, a panel discussion featuring current students and recent graduates, and additional training. There is no cost to attend.

***Please plan to arrive by 9:00 a.m. for registration at the table in front of HUB Room 250. After you have registered, you will be directed to Room 214 where your activities will take place.***

***Important Note: The first 100 students to register will be able to attend in-person. After all spots are filled, you may still register to participate virtually via webinar. You will receive the event link when you register.
